Home Brew Concentrate Makes 40 Pints

Woodfordes Norfolk Ales has become a by-word for consistency and excellence among brewers of cask conditioned ale and their customers.

Woodfordes has grown from tiny beginnings to become one of the largest and most respected of the wave of new cask ale brewers who started up in the early 1980s. It was a time when beer drinkers finally began to rebel against the relentless blandness of the larger brewers products, and pioneers turned first to home brewing and then to commercial production of their lovingly created recipes.

Now you can make your own top quality Woodfordes beers easily and economically in the comfort of your own home. Discover your favourite from the great range of Woodfordes Home Brew kits.

Pros: 3kg malt extract
Cons: none

I have brewed this twice and it's a lovely pint. I wish I had the patience to let it mature further before I drink it all! I've now ordered Admiral's Reserve and look forward to getting it in the fermenter.

Pros: Bright hoppy clean
Cons: Waiting

This brew is by far one of the best Golden Ales I have brewed, rarely have I had a better pint in a pub. Easy to make with clear instructions. Preferable to the Wherry which was darker than I thought it would be, more like a lighter coloured Newcy Brown but good also.

Pros: Better than my locals pint
Cons: There aren't any

This was my first attempt at brewing and it seemed Iiked everyone I knew had an opinion. "It won't taste that good you know" Well I followed the instructions to the letter and it tastes better than my local's pint and just bought my 2nd kit.

Pros: Easy, Tasty, GRREat value

I think this is a great homebrew for beginners or as a hobby with those with little time for messing about. It is no nonsense, easy, clean & if you leave it for long enough (sometimes tricky I know!), has a great light clean taste. It is really good value, especially via homebrew online, as they have the best prices I have found, even with delivery they are cheaper than my local brewshop.
